Salvation Army - More than Ringing the Bells

Most people just call her Lisa… 

Having grown up in Bloomington, Minnesota, Lisa obtained her Associate of Arts degree at Normandale College, graduated and worked in property management. She served two 4-year terms on the Bloomington City Council for District 3 before settling down to start a family.  

In 2005 her family moved into the new 4,500 sq ft custom designed home in St. Michael.  Everything appeared great until the economic crash of 2008.  

That’s when Lisa began her next round of personal training in bankruptcy, foreclosure, civil divorce courts and homelessness 101.  

Lisa knows now that these real life courses trained her better than any college course could to help her job today.  

She has worked for The Salvation Army since 2013 and loves guiding people through the valley of the  shadow to a place of hope and encouragement.
